Beat Blast Comes to Steam Early Access This Week

Music-maker, bullet hell Beat Blast from Toronto-based two-person team Woolly Walrus (@WoollyWalrusInc) is launching on Steam Early Access on August 14 with music from Toronto musician Harrison (@prodbyharrison).

In Beat Blast the music you make becomes your skill tree. Players can create attacks by combining different music notes.

Woolly Walrus decided to go Early Access because they wish “to collaborate with our players and get feedback on the state of the game.”

Friend of the site (and composer of our podcast theme) Jake Butineau worked on a previous title with Woolly Walrus called Block Swop about 5 years ago.
