Dauntless Aether Unbound 1.0 Launches September 26th

The free-to-play “Monster Hunter” clone released by Vancouver-based Phoenix Labs Dauntless will have its 1.0 version launch September 26th across all platforms. CEO Jesse Houston wrote on the games official website:

In 2014 we started Phoenix Labs with a vision. We were 7 developers who believed in redefining the way players shared their gaming experiences. Now in 2019 we’re over 100 strong, and you – the Dauntless community – have been with us every step of the way.

Sept 26th marks a special celebration for Slayers everywhere. Dauntless will leave early access and launch 1.0 with its latest patch, Aether Unbound. As we look back on the last 5 years, we reflect on just how amazing the journey with you has been. On behalf of everyone at Phoenix Labs, thank you for joining us on this adventure.

Version 1.0 will have the “addition of the Aether Strikers, Tempestborne Stormclaw, the Bounty system, and more”. We’ll be streaming Dauntless on our Twitch page on September 26th so make sure to tune in. Meanwhile, Dauntless is free-to-play, and currently out on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC so players are able to jump in right now. A Nintendo Switch version is schedule for release later this year.

Dauntless leaves early access and launches its 1.0 patch with Aether Unbound on Sept 26th! A savage new Behemoth, Tempestborne Stormclaw, is devastating the Shattered Isles. But the Slayers of Ramsgate don't stand alone! New allies emerge and bring with them a powerful new way to slay -- the Aether Strikers.
