Cuphead - Confirmed Release Date and Platforms

Cuphead by Studio MDHR now has a release date of September 29, 2017.  The developers also confirmed that it will only be available on Xbox One and Windows 10.  When discussing the possibility of a Playstation 4 version, the developers shot that down:

Yes, this Cuphead game is exclusive to Xbox and PC (with Steam and Win10 versions at launch and a GoG release likely shortly after) ... There will likely be a Mac version down the road and possibly a Linux version beyond that

The all-cartoon Magical Wondergame! Cuphead will be available on September 29th for Xbox One, Windows 10 and Steam! Pre-Order now on Xbox One and Windows 10! http://cupheadgame.com

Cellar Door Games Announces Full Metal Furies

Cellar Door Games has announced that Full Metal Furies will be coming in 2017.  They are the creators who brought us Rogue Legacy, which won the Best PlayStation Vita Game in 2014 on IGN.

Full Metal Furies is an RPG-laden action brawler for up to four players.  It is not an average brawler; this game has four character classes with their own skills and attacks, and a unique approach to cooperative play where certain enemies can only be damaged by certain players, requiring teamwork and communication.  Even single player mode allows for you to swap classes.

It will be available on Xbox One and Windows 10, and allows Xbox Play Anywhere and Cross Play support, meaning one purchase of the game will allow you to play both on your console and on Windows 10.

Check out the trailer here:

From the creators of Rogue Legacy comes FULL METAL FURIES, a brand new team-based brawler where cooperation is essential. Play with up to four friends in an alternate timeline where Titans still rule, and the world is on the brink of war.

Alto's Adventure Out Now On Windows 10

So I mentioned on the last podcast how we got an Xbox One after playing Alto's Adventure on our Window's 10 tablet and getting a few Xbox Achievements. Little did I know, the game was "silently" released on Windows 10 which has now been made public:

"For particularly sleuthy Xbox fans, this might not come as a shock. We quietly launched the game last month, and have been listening to early fan feedback ever since, to tweak and perfect the experience for Windows users. Now, we’re ready to tell the world. Alto will even be featured at the top of the Windows Games section of the Microsoft Store today and tomorrow – big thanks to the team at Microsoft for helping us spread the word."

Make sure to follow along on Twitter. Next up Snowman is partnering up with Slingshot & Satchel for their next project, though nothing is none about the game at the moment. We'll have all the details once they are available, until then make sure to pick up Alto's Adventure on your platform of choice.
