Announcing registration for Canadian university and collage gamers to compete in world’s biggest VALORANT competition
Red Bull Campus Clutch invites students from more than 50 countries to represent their country, leading to a world final later in the year.
Canadian qualifiers will take place on March 27th, April 10th and April 24th. Registration is now open at RedBull.ca/CampusClutch
Toronto, February 12, 2021: The call for entries for Red Bull Campus Clutch, the biggest global VALORANT post-secondary tournament is officially open with 3 qualifiers, open to all Canadian students, taking place on March 27th, April 10th, and April 24th. The competition challenges student gamers of all levels across the nation to team up and compete on the world stage to create history for their university, their province, and their country. To enter this exciting global event, students must rally their team of five and register to compete across three phases: Qualifiers, National Finals and World Finals.
Providing a level playing field, Red Bull Campus Clutch is open to all students over 18 who are enrolled in universities & collages across the nation. Teams of five can sign up to compete in Qualifiers 1, 2, and 3, which are now open at RedBull.ca/CampusClutch
Successful teams will advance to the National Finals, where they’ll compete to determine the best student VALORANT team in the country. The winner will advance to the World Finals, where only the very best squads will have a shot at the ultimate glory.
At the World Final, teams will face off for €20,000, and an exclusive chance to see the biggest stars in VALORANT compete in the VALORANT Masters Series, an official stop on Riot Games’ VALORANT Champions Tour.
As one of the fastest growing, most talked about, and most watched games of 2020, VALORANT broke the single-day hours watched record in a single game category with 34 million hours, according to Twitch.
Red Bull Campus Clutch provides a starting point for any up-and-coming VALORANT teams to get recognized on the international circuit. Teams from more than 50 countries will have the opportunity to compete against players from all over the world, hone their skills, and learn what it takes to compete professionally.
As the esports industry continues to thrive, collegiate esports ensures the ecosystem remains sustainable and provides a much-needed path for new talent. Red Bull Campus Clutch is a new grassroots event that aims to take university esports to the next level by creating a global structure, inviting students to not only represent their campus, but their country, and pave the way for the next generation of esports pros.
The Canadian Red Bull Campus Clutch Qualifiers take place online, beginning March 27th.

Combining the best elements of tournament and convention experiences, the two-day event will feature a festival-like atmosphere. Guests can expect tournaments, free play, BYOC, live streaming events, panels, hackathons and more.
The CNE will be having the third annual Gaming Garage, this time at the opening weekend of the yearly fair.

GameX 2.0 is the one day gaming event in Mississauga's Hersey's Center that will feature local games, tournaments, and a Bazaar. Admission is only $5 bucks, so check out the website, or FaceBook page for all the details, and see you June 24th.
GameX is an interactive video game event combining a video game bazaar of over 70 vendors alongside gaming tournaments and the opportunity to meet some terrific gaming personalities. This is a family-friendly event and there will be something to enjoy for gamers of all ages. Admission will be $5 per person and children aged 12 and under are free!

It’s been less than three years since Next Level Games released Luigi’s Mansion 3 but they are at it again, with a sequel to one its earlier games, Mario Strikers: Battle League. The game is expected to hit Nintendo Switch later this year on June 10th.
Sabotage Studios announced late last year that their Chrono Trigger inspired RPG will be coming to Nintendo Switch when it launches later this year. The game smashed its Kickstarter goal from a few years ago and has even brought on Chrono Trigger/Cross composer Yasunori Mitsuda to work on the games soundtrack.
One of our favourites on iPhone, and Nintendo Switch is now heading to PC via the Epic Game Store. Grindstone, the Capybara Games hit also recently received a new Daily Grind mode and Fortune Grind on both Nintendo Switch and Apple Arcade, the Epic Game Store version is out tomorrow.
